Hello, Quinn from Ottawa. I have a Fujifilm X-T30 II with the 18-55 that I bought second hand this spring and I mostly take it hiking. I've been reading here for a few weeks before signing up.
One thing I've been wondering: is the X-T30 II alright in light rain, or should I be using a cover? I know it isn't weather sealed but I've seen conflicting opinions on how much that actually matters.

Light rain's fine. Wipe it down after. Don't take it out in a downpour.
