- X-T5 six months on, coming from the X-T4
This is really helpful, thank you. Did you notice any difference in how solid the weather sealing feels compared with the X-T4? Still deciding. I know it's sealed on paper but I'd like to hear from…
Post #4, in Fujifilm - X-T6 slipping again? Starting to lose patience
Thank you. I hadn't thought about the lens needing to be WR as well, my 18-55 isn't. That's useful. I'll look at the WR primes or the 16-80 before I think about the body.
Post #13, in Fujifilm - X-T6 slipping again? Starting to lose patience
I'm in a similar position but from the other end. I have an X-T30 II and I'm trying to work out whether the weather sealing on an X-T5 is worth it for hiking in Algonquin in the fall, or whether I…
Post #11, in Fujifilm - Should I sell my X-T30 II and go full frame before I get any deeper into Fuji?
Thanks everyone, genuinely. I'm keeping the X-T30 II for now and I'm going to look for a used 16-55 (the original, the II is more than I want to spend). I'll revisit the body question next spring…
Post #31, in Buying Advice - Should I sell my X-T30 II and go full frame before I get any deeper into Fuji?
That makes sense. Follow-up question, if I stay with Fuji what lens would people actually upgrade to from the 18-55? It's not sealed either so I'd want something that is, I think. And is it silly to…
Post #24, in Buying Advice - Should I sell my X-T30 II and go full frame before I get any deeper into Fuji?
Honestly, a bit of both. I don't have a specific photo that's been ruined by the sensor. It's more a feeling that I should get the "right" system from the start. Weather sealing is a real concern…
Post #16, in Buying Advice - Should I sell my X-T30 II and go full frame before I get any deeper into Fuji?
This is really helpful, thanks. I don't carry a tripod on long hikes though (too heavy). Does that change things? Most of my shots are handheld at around 1/125. I do stop and brace on rocks a lot…
Post #8, in Buying Advice - Weather sealed lens for hiking: is the XF 16-55 II overkill on an X-T30 II?
That's reassuring, thank you. When you say rain cover, do you mean the full sleeve type or the kind that just goes over the lens? And does fog count as drizzle?
Post #3, in Lenses - Introduce yourself
Hello, Quinn from Ottawa. I have a Fujifilm X-T30 II with the 18-55 that I bought second hand this spring and I mostly take it hiking. I've been reading here for a few weeks before signing up. One…
