The Manchester walk earlier in the year sounded like proper fun and I'm a wee bit jealous, so how about one up here before Christmas?

Thinking a Saturday in early December, meet late morning at the bottom of the Royal Mile, wander up through the closes, round to Dean Village, then end up somewhere warm with a pint as it gets dark around half three. If the weather's dry we could go up Calton Hill for the lights after. If it's not dry... we go to the pub sooner.

No pressure, just see who's about. Any camera welcome, film folk especially.

I'm in. Glasgow to Edinburgh is 50 minutes on the train and I'll bring the M6 and moan about the light. If it's a dry Saturday I'll even stay for Calton Hill.

I'm in Leith so I've no excuse. Would be good to meet folk who know what they're doing with film. I'll bring the AE-1 and a roll of HP5.

Sounds very good but December for me is not possible, flights from Kraków are expensive before Christmas and I have family obligations. Maybe spring? Edinburgh is on my list since long time.
