New here? Say hello. Where you are, what you shoot, what you shoot it with, and how you found the place if you like. No pressure to write an essay.

I'll start. Ash, Sheffield. Mostly the Peak District, mostly landscapes, and a fair bit of medium format film when I can afford it. Currently on a Zf with the 24-70 f/4 and the little 40, a D750 I really should sell, and a Mamiya 7 II that I'll be buried with. Set this place up because I missed the old forums, where you knew everyone's username and exactly what they'd argue about.

Cheers

Kathy, Columbus, Ohio. I'm the other mod, so you'll see me moving threads around and occasionally asking people to play nice. Backyard birds mostly, plus bugs, and the grandkids when they hold still (they don't). Nikon Z6 III with the 180-600, the 24-120 and the 105 macro. Welcome, everybody!

Alright. Dave, Newcastle. D750 and a 70-200 2.8, mostly the Toon, the kids' football and the Northumberland coast when it's not raining, which isn't often. Nikon since forever. Cheapskate, buy everything used, proud of it. Found this place because Ash posted about it somewhere and I was sick of Facebook groups.

Howdy from Tucson. Retired engineer, shooting Nikon since an FM in '79. These days it's a Z8 and a D850 I can't bring myself to sell, plus the 24-120 and the old 200-500 on the FTZ for birds. Sonoran Desert wildlife mostly, and whatever holds still long enough. Looking forward to ribbing the Canon folks. - Walt

Gwyn, Cardiff. I make large landscape prints, mostly of wet hills in the Bannau and Eryri, and sell them at fairs. GFX100S II with the 32-64, and an RB67 for when I want to suffer. I'll be the one in printing threads going on about paper.

Hello from Kraków. I photograph mountains, mostly the Tatras and sometimes the Alps in summer, with Nikon Z6 II, 24-120 f/4 and 14-30 f/4. Before this I had Nikon DSLRs for many years. I read forums many years but this is first time I register somewhere, because the big forums became too much noise. Nice to meet you.

Good afternoon. Retired, living in Harrogate. I photograph landscapes and gardens with a Canon 5D Mark IV and the 24-70 f/2.8 II, and see no reason to change either. I would be grateful if someone could tell me how to change my avatar.

Kind regards, H.

Hello hello. Pete, Brighton. Film mostly, a Pentax K1000 and a Spotmatic, and sometimes no lens at all (pinhole, before anyone panics)... I'll probably go on about developer chemistry. My dad mixed his own and I seem to have inherited the habit, along with his measuring cylinders.
