There aren't many, and most of it is common sense. The moderators would rather spend their time taking photos than handing out warnings, so please help them out.
Be civil
Disagree as much as you like, but argue with the point, not the person. No insults, no brand-war trolling, no piling on newcomers for asking something that's been asked before. Just point them to the old thread.
No spam
No advertising, affiliate links or posting your channel in every thread. Linking your own work is fine when it's relevant to the discussion. New members can't post links until they've had a few posts approved.
No selling outside the classifieds
Please don't sell or ask to buy gear in the general forums. We don't have a classifieds section yet, so for now that means no buying and selling at all. Topics asking about prices are fine.
Keep it on topic
Post in the forum that fits best and keep replies related to the topic. If a thread wanders off, start a new one. Off-topic chat goes in the Lounge. Moderators may move topics to a better place and will leave a note when they do.
A few more
- Search before posting. There's a good chance someone has asked already.
- Only post photos and text you have the right to share.
- One account per person.
- If you see a problem, use the Report button rather than replying to it.
Moderators may edit or remove posts that break these rules. Repeated problems can lead to a ban.
