First red-winged blackbirds back at the reservoir! Spring is officially on the way, no matter what the forecast says.
Took the 85 GM II I definitely didnt need to the park with my sisters kids. Shallow depth of field on a toddler is a fools game but a couple are lovely
Wicken Fen, first marsh harriers displaying. Four hours in a hide for about ninety seconds of action. Worth it.

Ha, I felt the same this weekend. Took the new OM-1 II out to Rannoch Moor for its first proper trip. It rained, of course. It didn't care, of course.
Pawnee Grasslands Saturday night. Waited for the moon to set and had the core clear from about 1am until the sky started going blue. Two hours of tracked frames on the 14mm. Happy.

Cars and Coffee in Brookfield Saturday morning! Tried panning shots as they left the lot, 1/60 and about 1 in 10 came out sharp lol. A green Datsun 240Z made my whole day!
Still editing the eclipse photos, so nothing this weekend. Only the beach and a paella

A year of this thread and I've just realised half my posts are about rain. Glen Etive yesterday. It didn't rain. I didn't know what to do with myself.
Tatras on Saturday, and finally I get the inversion. Whole valley full of cloud, only the peaks above, exactly like the sounding chart showed the evening before. One from four is now one from three :)
