  1. HP5 at 1600 for night street in Leith, push it or buy Delta 3200?

Welcome to night film pal. Half your keepers will come from frames you nearly didn't bother taking. Next step's developing it yourself, you know it is.

  3. Edinburgh photo walk, a Saturday in early December?

I'm in. Glasgow to Edinburgh is 50 minutes on the train and I'll bring the M6 and moan about the light. If it's a dry Saturday I'll even stay for Calton Hill.

  4. HP5 at 1600 for night street in Leith, push it or buy Delta 3200?

  8. Film prices in 2026: what are you actually paying?

Still HP5 at £9.50 up here, Harman haven't moved since February. Kentmere 400 still under £7 if anyone's on a budget, it's not HP5 but it's not far off once it's in HC-110. Ilford gang stays winning

  9. Boot sale Super Takumar 35mm... with a cobweb inside. Hopeless?

Pal, it's an eight quid lens. Have a go yourself. Worst case you learn how a Takumar comes apart, which is worth more than £8 of anybody's money. I took apart my first lens at about fifteen with a…
