Good morning. I am considering a battery grip for my 5D Mark IV, chiefly for portrait-orientation pictures in the garden and on longer days out in the Dales. Is the genuine Canon BG-E20 still obtainable new, and is it worth the money over a third-party version? I would rather not have anything that requires an app. I should add that the camera has given me no trouble at all in eight years and I intend to keep it for another eight, so I do not mind paying for something that will last.
