Six months with a used X-T5 now, came from the X-T4. Short version for anyone who searches this later.

The 40MP files are nice for cropping and I haven't seen the noise problems people warned me about at ISO 3200, at least not in A3 prints. The tilting screen suits how I shoot better than the X-T4's flip-out one. It's lighter, which matters more than anything else on this list. Battery about the same. AF about the same, which is to say fine for what I photograph and not what you'd buy for sport.

Paid a bit over half the new price and would pay it again. If you have an X-T4 and it works, you don't need this. I didn't need it either.

Agreed on A3. Anything bigger and I'd reach for the GFX, but for a walking camera the X-T5 files are tidy.

I printed a set from a friend's X-T5 for a small exhibition in Crickhowell last year alongside my GFX work, and I'd defy most visitors to sort them by camera at A3. At A2 the difference shows if you get close, mostly in fine foliage and stone texture, but that's the GFX being very good rather than the Fuji being poor. For most people's walls this is more camera than they'll ever need, and it's a lot nicer to carry up Pen y Fan.

This is really helpful, thank you. Did you notice any difference in how solid the weather sealing feels compared with the X-T4? Still deciding. I know it's sealed on paper but I'd like to hear from someone who's used it in proper rain.
