QuestionEye AF grabbing the far eye at 1.4 on the A7C II

50 GM wide open, three-quarter angle, and the A7C II picks the far eye maybe 1 in 5. At 1.4 that's a ruined frame. Right/left eye select helps but I forget to switch it when they turn their head. Anyone found a setting that reliably picks the near eye? Not stopping down, before anyone says it.
