QuestionM lenses on the SL3: which adapter?

A friend has offered me his used Summicron 35 and I would like to use it on the SL3. Is the Leica M-L adapter worth the price over the third-party versions, given that the lens is manual focus in any case? My main concerns are flatness and correct infinity focus. Thank you.
