Gear in this topic: Fujifilm X100VI, Fujifilm X-M5
Two years after launch. Still seeing them at full price or more in shops here, and used prices barely lower than new. Is anyone seeing real drops yet, UK or US? I won't pay a scalper premium for a fixed-lens camera.
Otherwise I stay with the X-M5 and 27mm, which is basically the same idea with a worse viewfinder. No viewfinder, actually. Which I knew when I bought it, and still I miss it on bright days.
Used ones in the UK have come down a bit from the silly levels, but not by much. It's still a camera you buy because you want it, not because it makes sense.
I paid more than I should have for mine and I'd do it again tomorrow! But no, I wouldn't pay over list now. They're in stock here more often than last year at least. Last spring you couldn't find one anywhere, now my local shop has had one sitting in the case for a couple of weeks. That's progress I guess
