Mate's band have asked me to film a 40 minute set in the back room of a pub in the Northern Quarter. Room holds maybe 60, lighting is two red LED pars and a fairy light situation behind the drum kit. No stage, they're on the floor.

Plan is S5 II on the 20-60 for a wide locked off at the back, and me handheld with the 50 1.8 roaming. V-Log, 4K 25p, 180 shutter, dual native ISO so I'll sit at 4000 base and hope. Audio from a desk feed if the sound guy plays ball, Mic 2 as backup clipped near the drums.

Questions really for anyone who's done small gigs. Is red LED going to wreck V-Log as badly as I think? Would you underexpose to protect the reds or expose for skin and let them clip? And is one roaming camera enough or will the edit look thin without a second angle? Only the one body unless I borrow a GH5 off someone.
