- DJI Mic 2 or RØDE Wireless PRO for sit-down interviews?
Also on the Mic 2 here, with the ZV-E1. One thing I'd add: set the receiver to record a safety track as well if you're going into the camera, and still record internally on the transmitters. Belt…
Post #3, in Video - zv-e10 ii footage super grainy indoors at night, settings?
Lights first, lens second. Two lamps and a TV means auto is cranking the ISO, which is your grain and the mud. Even one cheap LED panel bounced off a wall behind the camera will fix most of it. The…
Post #2, in Video - Best action camera for motorcycle riding in 2026? My canyon footage was unusable
If any of this ends up on YouTube, the 8K crop thing is underrated. You can pull a vertical for shorts out of the same clip instead of mounting a second camera. Saves a lot of faff.
Post #10, in Video - A7S IV rumours again: what do you actually want in it?
update for anyone following: still nothing official. keeping the FX3 till something actually ships. my channel doesn't care what i shoot on and honestly neither do my subscribers
Post #10, in Sony - A7S IV rumours again: what do you actually want in it?
if you're on a zv-e10 ii don't wait for this lol. it'll be way more camera than you need. a used FX30 or a ZV-E1 is where i'd look. honestly though, get a better mic and some lights first. viewers…
Post #8, in Sony - A7S IV rumours again: what do you actually want in it?
24 would be a nice middle ground yeah. would kill my reason for keeping a separate stills body. i only keep the ZV-E1 around for thumbnails and that's kind of a silly reason to own a camera
Post #6, in Sony - A7S IV rumours again: what do you actually want in it?
that's kind of my worry too. FX5 is backordered everywhere though, nobody I know has one yet. and it's a box, i still want something i can throw on a gimbal and walk around with for b-roll
Post #3, in Sony - do i need 32-bit float audio for vlogging?
Exactly. And a wind muff if you're outdoors, biggest upgrade for the least money. The Pocket 3's built-in mics are actually decent in a quiet room, it's wind and distance that kill them.
Post #6, in Video - do i need 32-bit float audio for vlogging?
Disagree a little. It's not that you NEED it, it's that you stop thinking about levels entirely. For walking vlogs where a bus goes by, or a dog barks right next to you, or you laugh suddenly at…
Post #3, in Video - Gimbal or just IBIS for walking shots at car shows?
Or fix it in post. Resolve's stabilizer is pretty good if you leave a bit of crop room around the edges, shoot a touch wider than you need. That's what I'd try before buying a gimbal. My b-roll…
